So was the founder of BESTIES. Without oversharing (not because she’s shy, but who actually reads anymore?), she went through a stretch of big life changes: an unexpected career shift, a divorce, and a little too much doom scrolling, all of which led to some overdue, honest self-reflection. She began exploring ways to reconnect with herself, find balance, and feel grounded.

After exhausting various routes toward a better mindset, she reconsidered her initial aversion to microdosing. She had never tried this method of self-care and was nervous about taking anything that could inhibit her ability to function fully. But her curiosity ultimately outweighed her skepticism, and she took her first microdose. This moment marked an extremely meaningful shift in her life.

Her nature is to share things she loves with her besties. Some were navigating transitions of their own. Others were simply open to small rituals that made already-good days feel a little brighter. Word spread bestie to bestie, and that’s how BESTIES was born.
